QANTAS DEVELOPMENT/ City Council heard Jon Joslyn from Qant as Development
PARK PLACE VII request that an additional 19 units be allotted to
Park Plaee Unit VII. Council consensus was to approve
~ this request and to act on legislation granting the request on Monday, December 15,
and to authorize staff to accept the tentative map application for Park Place
VII. • . •
COMNNNITY DEVELOPMENT Resolution.No. 9026 N.C.S. authorizing the Mayor or
BLOCK GRANT FUNDS City Manager to execute an agreement entitled "Agency
RESO ~~ 9026 NCS Ag•reement" for fhe $150,000 of Gommunity Development
Block Grant Funds which were set aside for housing
rehabilitation loans for low and moderate income persons. Introduced by Vice-
Mayor Battaglia, seconded by Councilman Perry.

REZONE SONOMA JOE'S' Introduce Ordinanee No. 1448 N.C.S. amending Zoning
ORD. ~t1448 NCS Ordinance 1072 by reclassifying and rezoning A.P.007-
. 421.-13.from M-L, Light Industrial, to C-H, Highway
Commercial located near O1d.Redwood Highway and U.S. 1~01, and containing .
Sonoma Joe's Restaurant. This is to bring the area zoning into conformance
with the General Plan and facilitate future development of that area. The
ordinance was introduced by Councilman Bond, and seconded by Vice-Mayor Battaglia.

DIAMOND HEAD . Resolution No. 9027 N.C.S. appxoving tentative subdivision
TENTATIVE.MAP map for Diamond Head, Inc., a condominium proj-ect for
RESO ~~ 9027 NCS seriior citizens. Council and staff discussed the
condition recommended by the Public Works Superintendent
that a11 on-site sewer lines be private. Council directed staff to come back
by February 2, 1981 with a recommended policy for multi-family projects public
street and sewer v.s. private str.eet and sewer. The resolution was introduced
by Vice-Mayor Battaglia, and seconded by Gouncilman Perry (with the requirement
for private sewer lines deleted). ,

to be relocated. Council reques.ted the following additional conditions to
approval of the tentati~e map:a that the owner sign an addendum to fhe public
cons,truction agreement which would include.the obligation to relocate utility
lines and~that~the present easement be.abandoned prior to the issuance:of .
building permits. .The owner, Mr. Lowe, was in the audience and.shook his head
in an expression of agreement with that condition. The resolution was introduced
by Councilman Bond, seconded by Councilman Perry and voted on with that condition
added.

REPAIRS - WATER Resolution No. 9029 N.C.S. authorizing the emergency
POLLUTION:CONTROL purchas'e of a rebuilt generator for the Water Pollution
FACILIT:IES ~ ~' Control Facil~ifiies. This authorizes staff to issue a
RES0~4~ 9029 NCS $70,000 purchase order to a sole distri~buter and wave
bidding requirements of the turbine engine and gear
box for the emergency generator at the Water Pollution Control Plant Pump
Station. Introduced by Councilman Perry, seconded by Councilman Bond.

hearings in the City of Petaluma on this proposal.
ADJOURNMENT At 5:50 p.m. the meeting recessed to an Executive
Session which was adjourned to a Regular Adjourned,
Meeting on Monday, December 15, at 4:00 p.m.
