ROLL CALL 4:U0 P.M. Present: Councilmen Perry, Harberson, Bond, Balshaw, Cavanagh ` Absent: Vice-Mayor Battaglia, Mayor Mattei City Clerk asked for nominations for Mayor pro tempore. The nomination of Councilman Cavanagh was made by Councilman Perry and seconded by Councilman Bond. There being no further nominations for Mayor pr.o tempore, the nominations were closed. AYES: PERRY/HARBERSON/BOND/BALSHAW/CAVANAGH ABSENT: VICE-MAYOR BATTAGLIA, MAYOR MATTEI Councilman Cavanagh took his seat as Mayor pro tempore. TRAFFIC SIGNALS Resolution No. 9006 N.C.S. awarding bid for traffic RESO ~~ 9006 NCS signal installations at intersections at Caulfield Lane and Lakeville Street, No. McDowell Blvd. and E. Madison St., "I" Street flashing yellow beacons near Grant, and traffic signal modification on East Washington St. and McDowell Blvd., and authorizing the Mayor or City Manager to execute an agreement for said project with Steiny and Co., Inc. for $132,870. Introduced by Councilman Perry, seconded by Councilman Bond. The amount budgeted for these four projects is $275,000. City Engineer Hargis requested Council approval of transferring $27,000 f rom the budget for these four projects to traffic signal installation at E. Washington and U.S. 101 southbound off-ramps. AYES: PERRY/HARBERSON/BOND/BALSHAW/MAYOR pro ~tempore CAVANAGH ABSENT: VICE-MAYOR BATTAGLIA, MAYOR MATTEI TRAFFIC SIGNAL - 101 Moved - Bond, seconded - Harberson, to transfer $27,000 SOUTHBOUND OFF-RAMP of the unexpended amount from traffic signal installations (Reso. # 9006) toward traffic signal installation at the intersection of East Washington St. and State Highway Route 101 southbound on and off-ramps (See Reso. ~~ 9008). AYES: PERRY/HARBERSON/BOND/BALSH9W/MAYOR pro tempore CAVANAGH ABSENT: VICE-MAYOR BATTAGLIA, MAYOR MATTEI RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT Re-introduce Ordinance No. 1446A N.C.S. amending CONTROL SYSTEM Chapter 17.26 of the Petaluma Municipal Code to revise ORD. 4~1446A NCS procedures for the Residential Development Control System (This action was taken beeause, at the time the ordinance was introduced on November 3rd, there were several blanks that had not been completed. This ordinance incorporates the information that should have been in those blanks). Introduced by Councilman Harberson, seconded by Councilman Perry. Introduced by Councilman Perry, seconded by Councilman Bond. AYES: PERRY/HARBERSON/BOND/BALSHAW/MAYOR pro tempore CAVANAGH ABSENT: VICE-MAYOR BATTAGLIA, MAYOR MATTEI COOPERATION AGREEMENT Resolution No. 9008 N.C.S. authorizing the Mayor or WITH CALTRANS City Manager to execute an agreement with CALTRANS to SIGNALS provide for a traffic control signal system, safety WASHINGTON & 101 lighting and other road work at the intersection of RESO ~~ 9008 NCS East Washington St. and State Highway Route 101 southbound on- and off-ramps. Introduced by Councilman Perry, seconded by Councilman Balshaw. AYES: PERRY/HARBERSON/BOND/BALSHAW/MAYOR pro tempore CAVANAGH ABSENT: VICE-MAYOR BATTAGLIA, MAYOR MATTEI CITY MANAGER REPORTS Acting City Manager, John Scharer, advised that the Lucchesi Park soccer fields will be fenced to discourage vehicles from driving onto the soccer fields. He also advised the groundbreaking for the fire station on Corona Road will be $:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 11.
