BY RECLASSIFYING AND REZONING ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBERS 136-111-06, 136-111-07 AND A PORTION OF 136-111-11, KNOWN AS PARK PLACE UNIT IV, FROM PCD (PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT) TO PUD (PLANNED UNIT DISTRICT) LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF ELY BOULEVARD NORTH AND THE EXTENSION OF RANIER AVENUE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA AS FOLLOWS: Section I.The City Council finds that the Planning Commission filed with the City Council on November 15, 1984, its report as set forth in its minutes of October 23, 1984 (Item No. 3.283), recommending the adoption of an amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S.; by reclassifying and rezoning Assessor's Parcel Numbers 136-111.-06, 07 and a portion of 136-111-11 being more particularly described in Exhibit "A" form P.C.D. (Planned Community District) to P.U.D. (Planned Unit District). Section 2. The City Council further finds that said Planning Commission held a public hearing on said proposed amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., on October 23, 1984, after giving notice of said hearing in the manner, for the period and in the form required by said Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S. Section 3 . Pursuant to the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., the City Council finds that the proposed amendment is in general conformity with the Petaluma General Plan and its Environmental Design Plan Element, and further, that the public interest, convenience and general welfare will be furthered by the proposed amendment. Ord. 1591 NCS 1 Section 4. The City Council finds that the requirements of California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines Section 15083 have been satisfied and hereby incorporates by reference the Negative Declaration approved by Resolution No. 84-297 N . C . S . Section 5 . Pursuant to the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N . C . S . , and based upon the evidence it has received and in accordance with the findings made, the City Council hereby adopts an amendment to said Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., so as to reclassify and rezone said property hereinbefore referred to in accordance with the recommendation of the Planning Commission. Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby directed to post this ordinance for the period and in the manner required by the City Charter.
