INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN Jack Cavanagh Lawrence Tencer AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1072 N.C.S. BY RECLASSIFY'IN'G ,AND REZONING REDWOOD B°USINESS PARK (SUBDIVISION 6-176) LOT 1 FROM M', L/FP-C TO C-H/FP-C AND LOT 3 FROM C-H/FP-C to M-L/FP-C BE IT ORDAINED ..by the City Council of the City of Petaluma as follows: SECTION 1. That the City Council finds that the Planning Commission filed with the City Council on.,November 13, 1984,, .its report as set forth in its minutes of November ' 13, .1984, recommending "the adoption of an amendment to Zoning Ordinance No,. 1072 N.C.S. by reclassifying and rezoning certain lands being more particularly described as Lots 1 and 3 of Subdivision Map 6-176, Redwood Business.`Park. SECTION 2. The City Council further finds that said Planning Commission held a public hearing on, said proposed amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S. on November 13, 1984, after having given notice of said hearing in the manner, for the period and, in the form required by said Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S. SECTION 3. That pursuant to the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., the City Council has held a public hearing and finds that the proposed f' men dment, is in general conformity with the Petaluma General Plan, and the Environmental Design Plan, as amended by Resolution No. '8 4 -3 0 6 N . C. S . , and further, that the public interest, convenience and general welfare will be furthered by the proposed amendment. SECTION 4. The City Council further finds that the proposed amendment confor..ms to the. Petaluma General Plan and Environmental Design Plan and is consistent with the -public necessity, convenience, general welfare, and purposes of 'the Highway Commercial and Light Industrial zoning ordinances. SECTION 5. That pursuant to the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N. C.S.., and based upon the evidence I it has received and in accordance Ord.-'.Nb. - 15'94 N.C.S. with the findings made, the City Council hereby adopts an amendment to said Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., so as to reclassify and rezone Redwood Business Park Subdivision Map (No. 6-176) Lot 1 to C-H/FP-C (Highway Commercial`/Floodplain Combining) zone and Lot 3 to M-L/FP-C (Light Industrial/Flood Plain Combining) zone. SECTION 6. The City Council finds that the requirements of California Environmental Quality Act have been satisfied and hereby incorporates by reference the previously approved Negative Declaration for the project. SECTION 7. The City Clerk is hereby directed to post/4�,Ci,15t-)l this ordinance for the period and in the manner required by the City Charter.
