AN ORDI~NAN:CE AMENDIN'G ZONTNG ORDINANCE `NU. 1072 N.C.S.

BY PREZONIN`G ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 19-070-33, 34 and 40
KNOWN AS THE H:OLLY HEIGHTS ANIVEXATIQ:N AREA, R-1-20,000
(SINGLE-FAMTLY RESI~DENTIAL) LOC'ATED IN THE VICINITY OF
BODEGA AVENUE B~ETWEEN BANTAM WAY A'ND PAULA LANE.

BE IT bRDAINED BY THE' COUNCIL OF T.HE~. CITY OF PETALUMA AS
FOLLOWB:
Section 1. The City Couricil finds that the Planning Commission filed with
the City .Council on December 12, 1984 its report a;s set forth in its minutes
of November 27, 198.4 (Item No. 3.330), recommending the adoption of an
amendment to Zoning O,rdinance No. 1072 N.C.S.,. by prezoning Assessor's
Parcel Numbers 19=070-33,; 3'4 and 40 being mor.e particularly described in
Exhibit "A" as R-1-20,000 ~ (Single-Family Residential) .
Section 2. The City Council further finds that said Planning Cornmission held
a p.ublic hearing on said proposed amendinen~t- ,to Zoning Ordinance No. 1072
N., C. S., on November 2;7., 1984, after giving . notice of said hearing in the
manner, for the period ~ and in the form required by said Ordinance No.
1072 N.C:S. .
Section. 3, Pursuant to ithe provisions of Zonirig 'Ordinance No. 1072 N. C. S. ,
the City Cou_nci~l_ finds ~that ther proposed amendment is in ,general conformity ~
~
with the Petaluma General Plan and~ it:s .Environmen~tal °Design Plan Element,
and fu~rther, that the public interest, ~con'venience and general welfare will
be furthered. by the proposed amendment.
Section 4. T~he City ~ Council finds • that the requirements of California
Envir.onmental Quality Act Guidelines 'Se'ction 15083 have been satisfied and
hereby incorporates by reference the N:egative Declaration approved by
Resolution No .~~ N. C. S.
