SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN Tencer AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE `NO. 1072 N.C.S. BY PREZONIN`G ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 19-070-33, 34 and 40 KNOWN AS THE HOLLY HEIGHTS ANNEXATION AREA, R-1-20,000 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIIDEN.TIAL) LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF BODEGA AVENUE BETWEEN BANTAM WAY AND PAULA LANE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE: COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF PETALUMA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council finds that the Planning Commission filed with the City .Council on December 12, 1984 its report as set forth in its minutes of November 27, 1984.(Item No. 3.330), recommending the adoption of an amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S.,. by prezoning Assessor's Parcel Numbers 19=070-33,, 34 and 40 being more particularly described in Exhibit "A" as R-1-20,000 - (Single -Family Residential) . Section 2. The City Council further finds that said Planning Commission held a public hearing on said proposed amendinen-t- ,to Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N..C. S. , on November 27., 1984, after giving. notice of said hearing in the manner, for the period and in the form required by said Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.-S. Section. 3.Pursuant to the provisions of Zoning 'Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S. the City Council_ finds that the, proposed amendment is in ,general conformity with the Petaluma General Plan and its .Environmental ',Design Plan Element, and further, that the public interest, convenience and general welfare will be furthered. by the proposed amendment. Section 4. The City, Council finds •- that the requirements of California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines 'Se'ction 15083 have been satisfied and hereby incorporates .by reference the Negative Declaration approved by Resolution No ,#—,z N.C.S. Ord. No. 1597` N.C.S. Section 5.Pursuant to the provisions- of Toning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., and, "based upon the evidence it -has received. and in accordance with the findings made, the City Council hereby :adopts an amendment to said Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S. , so as to reclassify and prezone said property lereinbefore referred to in accordance with the recommendation of the Planning Commission. Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby directed to post this ordinance for the period and in the manner required by the City Charter.
