Introduced by Councilman Seconded by Councilman Roland Bond Albert Battaglia AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1072 N.C.S BY REZONING A P NO. 137-060-15 NEW DAW-'N (215 North McDowell Blvd.) FROM Rl-65D0 portion (FP-C)TO PUD portion (FP-C) BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council finds that the Planning Commission filed its report as _set forth in its minutes of March 27, 1984 (Item No. 3.311) with the City Council on April 16, 1984, having considered said amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., by reclassifying and rezoning certain lands located within the City of Petaluma, at 215 North McDowell Blvd., and more particularly described as Sonoma County Assessors Parcels # A.P. 137=060-15, from R1-6500, portion FP-C (Single Family Residential/Flood Plain Combining District) to PUD same portion FP-C (Planned Unit Development/Flood- Plain.: Combining District). Section', 2. `The City Council further finds that said Planning Commission held. a public ,.hearing :on the proposed amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S.., on March 27, 1984, after giving notice of said hearing in the manner, for the period and 'in the form required by said Ordinance No. 1072 N. C. S,. Section 3. Pursuant to the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.. C . S . , the City 'Council finds that the proposed amendment is in general conformity with the Petaluma General Plan and its Environmental Design Plan Element, and further, that the public interest, convenience and general welfare will be furthered by the proposed amendment. Section 4. The City Council finds that the requirements of California Environmental Quality Act. Guidelines have been satisfied and as recommended by the CityPlanning Commission as set down in its minutes of March 27, 1983, hereby incorporates by reference. the Negative Declaration previously certified by this C't, Council and the addenda thereto as incorporated by Resolution No . N . C . S . Ord. No. 1573 N.C.S. Section 5. Pursuant to the provisions Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N,. C c S . , and based upon the evidence it has received and in accordance with the findings made, the City Council hereby adopts an amendment to said Zoning Ordinance No.. 1072 N . C . S . , so as to reclassify and rezone said property as described herein 'to P.U.D. (a portion being) FP-C (Planned Unit Development/Flood Plain Combining District). Section 6. The City Clerk is hereby directed to post/publish this ordinance for the period and in the mariner required by the City Charter. INTRODUCED & ORDERED posted/published this 23rd day of April, 1984.
