Seconded by VICE -MAYOR HARBERSON AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORD` 1072 NCS BY PREZONING 3.5+or- ACRES Al-2.0•,0'00 AND 1.5+or- ACRES .Rl-40,000 (ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NOS. 19-202-06, 07) (I STREET AND TERRACE AVENUE) BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That: the City Council finds that the Planning Commission on October 11, 1983, did file its report (Planning .Case File 3.295) , as stated in the June 14, 1983,.Planning. Commission minutes,, regarding prezoning certain lands 'described as Assessor's Parcel 19-20.2-06„ 07., Section 2. The City Council further finds that, said Planning Commission held a public hearing on said proposed amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 NCS on the 23rd day .of August, 1983, after having given notice of said hearing in the manner, for the period and in the form required by said Ordinance No. 1072 NCS. Section 3. That pursuant to the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 NCS, the City Council has considered the prezoning and finds that the proposed amendment is in general conformity with the Petaluma General Plan and the Environmental Design Plan, and further, that the public health, safety and general welfare will be furthered by the proposed amendment. Section 4. That pursuant to the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 NCS, and based upon the evidence it has received and in accordance with findings made, the Council hereby adopts an amendment to Zoning Ordinance. No. 1072 NCS., so as to prezone Assessor's Parcels 19-202-06, 07 (See Exhibit A) to R1-20,,000 (portion) and R1-40,000 (portion) . Section 5. The- City Council finds that the requirements of California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines, Section 150,82, have been satisfied and hereby incorporates- by reference previously prepared environmental documentation, described in City Council Resolution No. 9939 NCS adopted on the 11th day of October , 1983.. Ord. No. 1561 NCS Section 6., The City Clerk is hereby directed to post/publish this ordinance for the period and -in, the manner required by the City Charter.
