BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA AS
FOLLOWS :
Section 1. That: the City Council finds that the Planning Commission on
Oc`tober 11, 1983, did file its report (Planning .Case F.ile 3.295) , as stated in
the June 14, 1983, Pianning Commiss'ion minutes„ regarding prezoning certain
lands descr.ibed as Assessor's Parcel 19-20.2-06„ 0'7.
Section 2. The City Go,uncil further finds that said Planning Commission
held a public hearing on said proposed amendment to Zoning Ordinance No.
1072 NCS on the 23rd day .of August, 1983, after having given notice of said
hearing in the manner, for the period and in the form required by said
Ordinance No. 1072 NCS.
Section 3. That pursuant to the provisioms of Zoning Ordinance No.
1072 NCS, the City Couricil has consid'er:ed the prezoning and finds that the
proposed amendmen.t is in general comformity with the Petaluma General Plan
and the Environmental Design Plan, amd further, that the public health,
safety and general welfare will be furthered by the pxoposed amendment.
Section 4, That pursuant to the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No.
10"72 NCS, and based upon the evidenee it has received and in accordance
with findings made, the Council hereby adopts an amendment to Zoning
Ordinance No. 1072 NCS, s,o as to prezone Assessor's Parcels 19-202-06, 07
(See Exhibit A) to R1-20,,000 (portiori) and R1-40,000 (portion) .
Section 5~. The City Council finds that the requiremerits of California
Environmental, Q.uality Act Guidelines, Section 15'Q8'2, have been satisfied and
hereby incorporates by reference greviously prepared environmental
~ documentation, described in City Council Reso'lution No. 9 9 39 NCS
ad~opted on the llth day of October , 1983..

ordinance for the period~ and in~ the manner required by the City Charter.
