SE£TION l. The City Council finds that.the Pl.annin.g Commission filed
with the City Council on .May 18, 1981, i`ts report as set forth in its minutes
" of May 12, 1981, recommending the adoption of an amendment to Zoning Ordinance
No. 1072 N.C.S., by reclass_ifying and rezonin.g certain lands from their
previous classificatio.n to C-H (Highway Commerci°al) as described in Exhibit
A attached hereto, and M-L (Li'ght Indust'ria~l) as described in Exhibit B
attached hereto.
SECTION 2. The City Couneil further finds that said Planning Com-
mission held a public hearing on said proposed amendment to Zaninq 4rdinance
No. 1072 N.C.S. on May 12, 1981, after givinr_i~notice of said hearing in
the manner, for the period an_d in the form required,by said Ordinance No.
1072 N.C,S.
SECTION 3. Pursuant to the pro~isions of Zonin;g Ordinance No.
~ 1072 N.C.S, the C~ity Council finds that the proposed amendment is in gen~eral
conformity ;with the Petaluma GeneraY~PTan `and its f nvironmental Design Plan
