BACI~G~20YJND Vacancies exist on Gity Boards, Commissions, and Committees, both for terms that expired June 30, 2010 and were not filled at the June 21, 2010 Counci'1 Meeting, and unexpired terms created by resignations. - I9~SCUSSION Notices of vacancies were published in the Petaluma Argus-Courier on September 2 and September 9, 2010 and on the City's VJeb Site. The attached "Get Involved" flyer was distributed at City Hall, the Petaluma Community Center, the Petaluma Library, and the Petaluma Campus of Santa Rosa Junior College. Petaluma Community Access (PCA) ran an announcement of the openings as well. The deadline for applications was Monday, September 13, 201.0, at 5:00 p:m. In accc>>rdance with the selection process included in Resolution 2010-020 N.C.S., a sub- comm~ttee of the Youth Commission reviewed applications and interviewed applicants for recommendation to the Council.
