5 RESOLUTION ADOPTING TIIE FISCAL YEAR 2001-02 BUDGET

7 WHEREAS, the City manager has prepared and submitted to the City Council a
8 preliminary budget for the period from July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2002 as required by Section
9 59 of the City Charter; and
10
11 WIIEREAS, the preliminary budget for fiscal year 2001-2002 does not exceed
12 the estimated revenues, other sources and available fund balances; and
13
14 W>FIEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the budget during six scheduled and
15 posted City Council meetings,
16
17 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that:
18
19 1. The FY 2001-2002 Preliminary Budget, as revised, is hereby adopted as the FY
20 2001-2002 Adopted Budget.

22 2. The FY 2001-2002 Appropriations, referred to as Exhibit A, which lists
23 Appropriations by Department and by Fund is to be filed with the City Clerk.
