AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH RADAR ENFORCEABLE SPEED LIMITS
ON CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF PETALUMA
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Pursuant to California Vehicle Code 22357, 22358, 22358.3 and 40804, as well as
12 section 2B.13 of the California Manual on Unified Traffic Control Devices, the radar enforceable speed
13 zones on the following Petaluma City streets are hereby amended and/or re-established:

Section 2. Previously established radar enforceable speed zones not re-established
or modified in this ordinance shall remain approved as previously adopted for the streets to
which they apply.
Section 3. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase or word of this
Ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, unlawful or otherwise invalid by a court
of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of
this Ordinance. The City Council of the City of Petaluma hereby declares that it would have
passed and adopted this Ordinance and each and all provisions thereof, irrespective of the fact
that any one or more of said provisions be declared unconstitutional, unlawful or otherwise
invalid.
Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to post this Ordinance for the period and in
the manner required by the City Charter.
