HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2001-133 N.C.S. 07/23/2001lZesolution No. 2001-133 N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION DECLARING SCRAPPED WATER METERS AS SURPLUS AND AUTIIORIZING TIIE CITI' MANAGER TO DISPOSE OF T>~IE WATER METERS IN ACCORDANCE WITII PROVISIONS OF TIIE PETALUMA MUI.IICIPAL CODE WIIEREAS, the Water Resources and Conservation Department identified a need to dispose of scrapped water meters, and, WIIEREAS, City Council authorization is required to declare the scrapped water meters as surplus to the needs of the City, and, WIIEREAS, the City Manager requires authorization to dispose of the surplus property with a value of $500.00 or more, and, NOW, TIFIEREFORE BE IT RESOVLED, that the City Council hereby declares the current inventory of scrapped water meters to be surplus to the City's needs and authorizes the City Manager to dispose of the surplus water meters in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 3.12 of the City of Petaluma. Municipal Code. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
