HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2001-059 N.C.S. 03/12/2001Resolution No. 2001-059 N.C.S.. 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 of the City of Petaluma, California AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR FURNISHING MATERIALS AND SERVICES FOR THE LANDSCAPE AND IRRIGATION SYSTEM INVENTORY BOND PARK GIS PROTOTYPE WITH DENDRON LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma recognizes that water is an essential and limited resource; and WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma has a 5-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for Water System Improvements which includes Project #9931 for water conservation; and WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma has entered into a cooperative agreement with the Sonoma County Water Agency to fund and administer a Landscape Water Audit Program in the Water CIP Project #9931 for water conservation; and WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma has determined that conducting an extensive water management program to assist non-residential water customers with water conservation and reducing peak water use is one of the strategies that it will employ to achieve its water conservation goals; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Petaluma City Council authorizes the City Manager to enter into a professional services. agreement for furnishing materials and services the landscape and irrigation system inventory Bond Park GIS Prototype with Dendron Landscape Management Consultants. 32 33 34 35 36 37 Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City. 38 REFERENCE: I hereby certify the foregoing Resolution was introduced and adopted by the Council 39 of the City of Petaluma at a meeting on, March 12, 2001, Approved as to 40 by the following vote: 41 ~ ' 42 City Attorney 43 AYES: O'Brien, Healy, Moynihan, Vice Mayor Cader-Thompson, Mayor Thompson 44 NOES: None 45 ABSENT: Torliatt, Maguire 46 ' 47 ATTEST: ~ 48 City Clerk Ma or 49 Reso. 2001-059 NCS
