AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR FURNISHING MATERIALS AND SERVICES FOR
THE LANDSCAPE AND IRRIGATION SYSTEM INVENTORY BOND PARK GIS
PROTOTYPE WITH DENDRON LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANTS
WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma recognizes that water is an essential and limited resource; and
WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma has a 5-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for Water
System Improvements which includes Project #9931 for water conservation; and
WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma has entered into a cooperative agreement with the Sonoma
County Water Agency to fund and administer a Landscape Water Audit Program in the Water
CIP Project #9931 for water conservation; and
WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma has determined that conducting an extensive water
management program to assist non-residential water customers with water conservation and
reducing peak water use is one of the strategies that it will employ to achieve its water
conservation goals;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Petaluma City Council authorizes the City
Manager to enter into a professional services. agreement for furnishing materials and services the
landscape and irrigation system inventory Bond Park GIS Prototype with Dendron Landscape
Management Consultants.
