HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2001-061 N.C.S. 03/12/2001i 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 Resolution No. 2001-061 N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR FURNISHING MATERIALS AND SERVICES FOR THE INDUSTRIAL WATER EFFICIENCY PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT WITH PACIFIC TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATES WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma recognizes that water is an essential and limited resource; and WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma has a 5-year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for Water System Improvements which includes Project #9931 for water conservation; and WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma has entered into a cooperative agreement with the Sonoma County Water Agency to fund and administer a Water Conservation Program in the Water CIl' Project #9931 for water conservation; and WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma has determined that conducting an extensive water management program to assist water customers with water conservation and reducing peak water use is one of the strategies that it will employ to achieve its water conservation goals; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Petaluma City Council authorizes the City Manager to enter into a professional services agreement for furnishing materials and services for the industrial water efficiency program development with Pacific Technology Associates. 35 36 Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City. 37 REFERENCE: I hereby certify the foregoing Resolution was introduced and adopted by the Council 38 of the City of Petaluma at a meeting on, March 12, 2001, Approved as to 39 by the following vote: -"form" 40 ~ 41 City Attorney 42 AYES: O'Brien, Healy, Moynihan, Vice Mayor Cader-Thompson, Mayor Thompson 43 NOES: None 44 ABSENT: Torliatt, Maguire 45 ' 46 ATTEST: 47 City Cl lc or Reso. 2001-061 NCS
