BETWEEN HIGHWAY 101 AND NORTH Mc:DOWELL 0 THE SOUTHEAST
OF CORONA ROAD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA, AS FOLLOWS.:
Section 1 . That the City finds that the Planning Commis -
sion filed with the City Council on the 7th day o.f. August, 1.073, its re.port
as set forth in its Resolution No.. Z10-73 recommending the rejection of an
amendment to the Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.0 S, to reclassify and rezone

certain lands being more particularly described ,as follows:
All that certain real property situate, lying and being in the City
of Petaluma, County of Sonoma, State of California, more particularly de-
scribed as follows:
Being a par=cel of land located in the Rancho Petaluma and "
being more particularly . de;scr'ibed as follows
BEGINNING at a concrete monument set-in-the northeasterly
right of way line of Freeway 1.01. I`V ,SON.e 1 -F, opposite station
678 +39.04 as shown on that certain map recorded in Book 4 of
Highway maps at Page 144, Sonoma County °Records; said point
being on the property line of the lands of Young as described
in that certain deed recorded in Book 2188 Offical Records
at Page-5 Sonoma County Records; thence along said property
line on a curve to the right from a tangent that bears. North
54 04' 08 " West, radius 100.00 feet, through a central angle
of 72" 52" 20" an arc length of 127x19 feet ;. thence. North '18
48' 12" Ea st 261.:01 feet; thence along a tangent curve to the
right, radius 1500.00 feet, through a central angle of 10' 53'
38" an arc length of 285.20 feet; thence North 29 41' 50" East
99.45 feet; thence South 5 4 0 04' 00 E ast 60,36 feet to the
most northerly corner of the lands of Pacific Gas and Electric'Com-
pany as described in that certain deed.recor:ded in Book 1880 of
Official Records at Page 14, Sonoma County Records; thence along.
said lands of Pacific Gas and Electric. Company and Young, South 29�
41' 50" West 92.90 feet; thence along a -tangent:curve to the left,
radius 1440.00 feet, through a central angle 01 10' 28' 30" an arc
length of 26'3. feet; thence South 54 04' 0'8" East 447.38 feet,
thence North 35 59' 22 East 300.70 feet to the most westerly
corner of the lands of Young as described in that certain deed
recorded. in Book 23.95 of Official Records at Page 978, Sonoma
County Records; thence along said line and the "lands of
Pacific Gas and Electric Company North;35 59' 22" East 49.50
feet to the most southerly corner of the lands of Lorenz, as
described in that certain deed r ecorded in Book 1967 of`Official
Records at Pa,ge Sonoma County Records; thence along the
line common to the lands of Young and Lorenz North 35 59' 22"
East 384.12 feet to the northeasterly line of the lands of Young;
thence along said line'South 54 0'7' 54" East 502,92.feet to the
corner common to the lands of Young and the lands of Caster
Mobilehomes Corporation., as described in

Section 2. The City Coundil further-•L that, said Planning Commis-
sion he hearings on said propo,,s amendment to, the Zoning Ordi No
1072 N. C on the 7 day of August., 10.3, after having .given notice of said
hearings in the manner-, for the period, and in the form required, by said or-
dinance, No., 1072 N C. S'.
Se 3. That pursuant to the Provisions of Zoning Ord-inance No;.
1072 N. C�.,S,. , the City Gou.nc held a public hearing and finds that the pro-
po,.-;'ed. amendment Ls in general conformity with the Pe;ta'luma General Plan and
the Envi.ronmental Design Plan, and further, that the public i-pterest,' con-
veniehce and general welfare will be :furthered by the proposed' amendment.

Section 4. That pursuant to the provisions I :of Zoning Ordinance No.
1072 . N.C=.,S., City Council hereby adopts an amendment to said Zoning,
Ordinance No,. 1,072 N.C,S. so as to reclassify and rezone said property here-
inbe!for-e, described from R71-10,000, 'One-Family Rasident' District and M-L
"Light Industrial District to R-M"Gi Garden Apartment Res-I.dence Di c
