I'm a Director /Producer and Editor and have spent many hours on the road travelling to the
East Bay and San Francisco. This meant that I spent up to three hours, on a bad day, in traffi,
each way. I always wondered why the BART system never made it to the Noth Bay Not that
SMART is the answer, but it may do for the Noth Ba what the Capitol Trains are doing for the
Central Valley. Get more people out of their cars and onto mass transit.

I'm open minded, I'm for rail transit and I like to keep things simple. I live pretty close to the
tracks, near Schollenberger Park, so I know I will hear the trains, as will half of Petaluma and I
can be a voice of the people, not the companies. Since I work at PCA, I've seen most of the
public meetings and am pretty tuned in to what is happening in Petaluma.
