C o S INTRODUCED By COUNCI'LMl SECONDED COUNCILMAd� /AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1072 N.G.S., TO PROVIDE FOR DEFINITION OF STRUCTURES; TO REGULATE THE LOCA- TION OF ACCESSORY USES; TO 'REGULATE P -C- AND P -U -D DISTRICTS; TO ESTABLISH CERTAIN STANDARDS FOR ACCESSORY USES; TO REGU- LATE PROJECTIONS INTO SIDE YARDS AND TO ESTABLISH CERTAIN ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES .WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has filed its Resolution No. 14- 74, recommending amendments to the text of Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S., and has held the required hearing thereon; and .WHEREAS.,.the Council finds that the proposed amendments are in conformity with the Petaluma General Plan, the Environmental Design Plan and the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the adoption of the following amendments, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that Zoning Ordinance No. 1072 N.C.S. is hereby amended as follows: Section 1 . Article 1, Section 1 -293 is hereby amended to read as follows: STRUCTURES. Anything constructed or erected which requires :location on the ground or which is attached to something having location on the ground; excluding vehicles designed and used only for the transportation of people or goods, a swimming pool, a fence, or a wall used as a fence. Section 2 . Article 6, Section 6 -307, is hereby amended to read as follows: ;Domestic dog shelters and Pens, coops, cages and enclosures for the keeping of domestic flocks of chickens and other such fowl, provided any dog shelter and any enclosed area for confin- ing a dog, and any facilities for keeping chickens or other such fowl shall not be located primarily in any required side yard area .,and in no case closer than 25 feet from primary structures on a jk joining parcels. Section 3 . Article 6, Section 6 -307 as - it exists is to bered Section 6 -308. Section 4 . Article 19, Section. 19 -601 is hereby amended to read as follows: Development of a P -C District shall be in conformity with the provisions of Section 26 -700 through 26 -705 of this ordinance.
