Located within the Sunnyslope Planned Unit District, at 674 Sunnyslope Road APN 019 - 203 -008, File # 03 -TSM -0460 RECOMMENDATION It is! recommended that the City Council continue the item to December 20, 2010. i BACKGROUND On February 22, 2010, the City Council considered the Sunnyslope IT project application for a Mitigated Negative: Declaration PUD Amendment, and Vesting Tentative Map. After receiving public comments, and following Council deliberation, the City Council continued the item to April 5, 2010 in order to allow for project revisions in response to the Council's direction. On March .16`" the applic ant, submitted a request for continuance to the June 7, 2010 City Council ' meeting to allow adequate time for revisions, additional neighborhood outreach, and staff review and•analysis. The City Council eoiitinued the item to June 7, 2010. Oil, May'119 the a pplicantsu$m tted a subsequent request for continuance to a date uncertain, citing disagreement about the cost recovery balance..In the interest of meeting the Council's expectation that this matter be processed expeditiously, staff recommended continuance of this item to a date. certain. The. City Council. continued the item to August 2 -, 2010. On July`12, 2010 the' applicant submitted a request for continuance to September 13,. 2010 due to a long- planned_family vacation. The City Council continued the item to September 13, 2010. On August 24, 2010 the applicant submitted a subsequent request for continuance to a date uncertain. The City Council continued the item to November 15, 2010. The cost "recovery balance has been paid and currently carries a positive balance. A neighborhood meeting was held on October 19, 2010 at the Petaluma Community Center. The applicant team presented revised plans and answered questions and concerns from those in attendance. Staff was present at the meeting. The: applicant's represeintative has indicated that a formal submittal of revised plans is forthcoming. In the absence of revised plans at this time, staff believes further continuance of the item is necessary. Staff recommends that the project be continued to December 20, 2010 and has'reviewed pertinent deadlines with the applicant to assure understanding of current project timeline. )FINANCIAL IMV PACTS The project is subject to. cost recovery.
