HomeMy WebLinkAboutStaff Report 3.C 09/14/2015DATE: September 14, 2015 TO: Honorable Mayor and Members f the City Council FROM: John Brown, City Manag °- Agenda Item #3.0 SUBJECT: Resolution Amending the Classification and Compensation Plan by Establishing the Classification Series and Pay Range of Management Analyst I, Management Analyst II and Senior Management Analyst RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached Resolution Amending the Classification and Compensation Plan by Establishing the Classification Series and Pay Range of Management Analyst I, Management Analyst II and Senior Management Analyst. BACKGROUND This classification request was first presented to the City Council on August 3, 2015, under New Business and was unanimously approved (Attachment 2). The job descriptions and salary tables were included with the report, but the Resolution was inadvertently omitted. DISCUSSION This item has been brought to you again to repeat the action taken on August 3, 2015, to include the Resolution. FINANCIAL IMPACTS This action has no fiscal impact. The Public Works and Utilities position was allocated in the FY 2015/16 budget and funded at the Management Analyst II level. ATTACHMENTS 1. Resolution 2.
