4 APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
5 REGARDING WATER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM CAPACITY
6 ALLOCATION DURING TEMPORARY IMPAIRMENT

9 WHEREAS the City Council, at their November 20~`, 2000 meeting, discussed the
10 Memorandum of Understanding,

12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council approves the Memorandum
13 of Understanding with the following modifications:
14 1. Section 4, Table 1, local production capacity should not be counted against or deducted
15 from the allotment of the impaired supply.
16 2. Section 4F, the priority order is changed such that the highest priority is storage.
17 3. Any excess unused water shall remain in the river and not be sold as surplus water.

27 Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
28 REFERENCE:. I hereby certify the foregoing Resolution was introduced and adopted by the
29 Council of the City of Petaluma at a Regular meeting on November 20, 2000 Approved as to
