HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 00-166 N.C.S. 09/05/2000 F~esolution No. 00166 N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER T® EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH HILTON, FARNICOPF & HOBSON FOR PREPARATION OF THE WATER, WASTEWATER ANI) STORM WATER REVENUE PROGRAM STUDIES WHEREAS, on April 12, 2000, the City issued a Request for Proposal for professional services in support of the water and wastewater revenue program studies; WHEREAS, the City considered proposal submitted by Bartle Wells, Joy Parsons & Associates, and Hilton, Farnkopf & Hobson; WHEREAS, the City's project interview team reviewed the proposals; WHEREAS, the City's project interview team unanimously recommended that the City Council select Hilton, Farnkopf & Hobson; WHEREAS, the water and wastewater revenue program studies are programmed in the Administration (6210 and 6170) budgets of the Department of Water Resources and Conservation for FY 00-01; WHEREAS, the studies will determine rates that generate revenue sufficient to meet the operating and capital funding requirements for the wastewater, water and storm water utilities; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Petaluma City Council that the City Manager is authorized to execute a professional services agreement with Hilton, Farnkopf & Hobson for preparation of the water, wastewater and storm water revenue program studies subject to the review and approval of all contract documents and insurance certificates by the City Attorney. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
