of the City of Petaluma, California
ADOPTING COMPARABLE AGENCIES FOR THE PETALUMA PROFESSIONAL
AND MID -MANAGERS ASSOCIATION REPRESENTING EMPLOYEES OF
UNIT 4 (PROFESSIONAL), UNIT 9 (MID -MANAGERS), AND UNIT 11
(CONFIDENTIAL) PURSUANT TO THE TERMS OF THE MEMORANDA OF
UNDERSTANDING OF JULY 1, 2014 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2016 BETWEEN
THE CITY OF PETALUMA AND THE PETALUMA PROFESSIONAL
AND MID -MANAGERS ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, the City of Petaluma and the Petaluma Professional and Mid -Managers
Association have met and jointly developed a list of proposed comparator agencies in accordance
with the terms of the Memoranda of Understanding covering the period July 1, 2014 to June 30,
2016; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reviewed and concurs with said list of proposed
comparator agencies and does recommend that the City Council adopt the proposed comparator
agencies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proposed comparator agencies are
adopted and shall be utilized to conduct the compensation study provided under the terms of the
Memoranda of Understanding covering the period July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2016.
Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
REFERENCE: I hereby certify the foregoing Resolution was introduced and adopted by the
Council of the City of Petaluma at a Regular meeting on the 2°d day of November,
2015, by the following vote:
AYES: Albertson, Mayor Glass, Healy, Kearney, King, Vice Mayor Miller
NOES: None
ABSENT: Barrett
ABSTAIN: None
