HomeMy WebLinkAboutPCDC Minutes 03/01/1993REGULAR MEETING PETALUMA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION ROLL CALL: 3:00 p.m. PRESENT: ABSENT: MINUTES MONDAY, MARCH 1, 1993 Nelson, Read, Shea, Hamilton, Chairman Hilligoss Barlas, Vice Chairman Sobel (They were attending the Sonoma County Transportation Authority meeting in Santa Rosa) The minutes of the February 1, 1993, meeting were approved as submitted. 1992 GRAND JURY REPORT APPROVAL OF RESPONSE The 1992 Grand Jury questions of all the redevelopment agencies in the county related to accounting standards, Low and Moderate Income Housing Fund listings and the suggestion that agencies consider maximizing expenditures. In the case of the Petaluma Redevelopment Agency, all accounting is accomplished in accordance with "generally accepted accounting principles", with the national "Governmental Accounting Standards Board" and with State Law. The Low and Moderate Income Housing Fund is listed clearly in accordance with established reporting standards, as noted in the previous sentence. Regarding maximizing expenditures, the City's substantial affordable housing program allocates almost all of the available funds designated for housing projects. The letter was approved by the following motion. Introduced by Nancy Read, seconded by Lori Shea.
