to guarantee renovation in one year after"
.and..

OLD CAP'N SIMS BUILDING
Executive Director John Scharer said that requests for proposals had been
hand -delivered to the three parties who had previously expressed interest in
bidding on the property. The only bid that was returned was submitted by
Mr. Roth in the amount of $155,000; it was accompanied by a loo deposit.
The staff recommendation is to accept the offer and authorize the Executive
Director to sign all the necessary documents. Mr. Ken Bradley of Aunt
Julie's Toys and Antiques questioned the manner in which the bidders were
notified. The Commissioners were assured by Mr. Smith (realtor handling the
transaction) that the Roths intend to have a retail business in this location.
Commission Attorney Joe Forest suggested that staff work out a written
buy -sell agreement. The Commission consensus was to authorize staff to
proceed with that document.
The meeting was adjourned.
