Perry led the Pledge of Allegiance MINUTES _ The Minutes for June 16, 1980, were approved. ' Letter from Valentine Corporation Requesting Time Extension for Wall and Sidewalk Project, 240 Petaluma Blvd. North - Mahoney Parking Lot City Engineer Hargis advised there had been a shipment delay of the fencing materials and the fencing materials arrived in damaged condition. The Commissioners expressed concern over the quality of the materials and asked staff to be certain they would hold up before the fence is installed. Resolution No. 80-6 Establishing Charges and Conditions Pertaining to the Rental and Use of the Parking Lot Facility Located at 234-240 Petaluma Blvd. No. During Certain Hours The permit fee allowed is $20.00 per month per space. The permit fee includes exclusive right to park between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with the exception of Thursday when the hours shall be from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Use of the parking lot at any other time would be -between Mr. Mahoney and any other contracting party. Any rate change in the monthly parking fee must come back to the Commission for action. The Commission expressed their appreciation to Mr. Mahoney for his cooperation in this effort to develop parking for employees downtown. The resolution was introduced by Vice -Chairman Battaglia and seconded by Comm. Harberson. AYES: Battaglia, Cavanagh, Harberson, Perry, Chairman Mattei ABSENT: Balshaw, Bond Before the meeting was adjourned, the Commission's attorney recommended they adopt a motion outlining approval of the time extension for Valentine Corporation to complete the fence -wall.
