S. of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR GEOGRAPRIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS (GIS) PARCEL I9ATA CONVERSION SERVICES TO BROWN & CALDWELL IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $32,000 BUDGET ACCOUNT # 602-400-6210-7301 WREREAS, on August 22, 2000, the City issued a Request for Proposal for professional services in support of the Geographic Information System (GIS) implementation project; WREREAS, the City's GIS Division reviewed the proposals; WREREAS, the GIS Division recommended that the City Council select Brown & Caldwell; WREREAS, the GIS implementation project is programmed in the Administration (6210) budget of the Department. of Water Resources and Conservation for FY 00-01; WREREAS, the data conversion completed by this project will establish the foundation layers for continued development of a City-wide Geographic Information System; NOW, TREREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Petaluma City Council that the City Manager is authorized to execute a professional services agreement with Brown & Caldwell for GIS data conversion services subject to the review and approval of all contract documents and insurance certificates by the City Attorney. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
