HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 00-196 N.C.S. 11/20/2000 Resolution No. 00-196 N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California RESOLUTION APPROVING APPROPRIATION OF $170,000 FROM RESERVES TO INFORMATION SYSTEM'S BUDGET FOR EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT AND MAINTENANCE CONTRACT PAYMENT FOR UTILITY BILLING VVIIEREAS, the City Council adopted a budget for Fiscal Year 2000 - 2001; and, WHEREAS, it has been noted that certain funding for replacement of computer related equipment has been omitted from the final budget document; and, WHEREAS, it has also been discovered that funds were not included for payment of maintenance services for the new Utility Billing software. NOW, T13EREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to appropriate $158,000 from the Information System Reserve Fund to the equipment replacement budget of the Information Systems budget, and an additional $12,000 to the Information System's budget to pay for the service contract for the Utility Billing software. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
