Brown, City Manager SUBJECT: Recognition of Employee Longevity RECOMMENDATION It is recommended the City Council publically acknowledge those employees who celebrated service anniversaries during the months of October — December, 2015, BACKGROUND Employee longevity milestones are recognized at the department level with a service pin and with a certificate signed by the City Manager and the Mayor. The City Council would like to also publically recognize the efforts and dedication of its City employees. Employees who celebrated anniversaries in the months of October — December, 2015 were: Employee Department Years of Service Gary Blackledge Public Works 30 Scott Kirby Public Works 25 Raymond Lanus Public Works 25 Kenneth Mattos Public Works 25 Tinh Pham Public Works 25 Charlotte Shada Police 25 Matthew Swingle Public Works 25 Aaron Garihan Police 20 Cary Fergus Fire 15 Duane Peterson Public Works 10 Nicholas Raccanello Police 10 Luis Chairez Fire 5 Adam Rich Fire 5 Jenifer Row Police 5 FINANCIAL IMPACTS The cost of longevity recognition for these awards is $910 and is included in existing budgets.
