of the City of Petaluma, California
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF RED LIGHT EMITTING DIODE
REPLACEMENT MODULES FROM DIALIGHT CORPORATION IN THE AMOUNT OF
$39,722.25
WHEREAS, the .Public Facilities and Services Department identified a need to reduce energy
consumption at traffic signals,
WHEREAS, staffresearch the .issue and determined a cost effective approach to reducing
energy was to purchase new light emitting diode (LED) replacement modules and install the units
during routine maintenance. and
WHEREAS, staff determine the best source of procurement of the LED replacement modules
is a State of California master agreement, and,
WHEREAS, staff recommends purchase of LED replacement modules from Dialight
Corporation in the amount of $39,726.22, and,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby authorizes
the purchase of LED replacement modules from Dialight Corporation. in the amount of $39,726.22.
Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
