Brown, City Manager Recognition of Employee Longevity RECOMMENDATION It is recommended the City Council publically acknowledge those employees who celebrated service anniversaries during the months of January — March, 2016. BACKGROUND Employee longevity milestones are recognized at the department level with a service pin and with a certificate signed by the City Manager and the Mayor. The City Council would like to also publically recognize the efforts and dedication of its City employees. Employees who celebrated anniversaries in the months of January — March, 2016 were: Employee Department Years of Service Ronnie Gossner Public Works 30 Richard Cox Police 20 Brian Morgan Fire 20 Jeffery Bart Public Works 15 Douglas Hoggan Information Technology 15 James Schweizer Fire 15 Ron DeNicola Public Works 10 Mario Giomi Police 10 Rudolph Schulken Public Works 10 Brent Weber Fire 10 Chad Costa Fire 5 Bryan Drees Fire 5 Alexander Mederos Fire 5 Renee Mohr Building 5 Stephanie Oefinger Public Works 5 Daniel Robinson Public Works 5 FINANCIAL IMPACTS The cost of longevity recognition for these awards is $960 and is included in existing budgets.
