GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT
Mayor Glass opened GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT.
John Cheney, Petaluma, is happy that the flood control project is done! He urged Council to
look hard at any new development and the potential for flooding.

Mr. Cheney
Richard Brawn, Petaluma, said the State and City can't seem to align their priorities and that
money should be going into fixing the streets.
Katherine Bobrowski, Petaluma, spoke of problems at the mobile home park where she lives.
Zen Destiny, Rohnert Park, spoke of the "karma of crying wolf," and a variety of other topics.
Moira Sullivan, Petaluma, called for a moratorium on spraying of glyphosate.
Mary Fraser, Mill Valley, Pesticide Free Zone, called for a moratorium on the use of pesticides in
Petaluma.
Elaine Stevick, Petaluma, has had central nervous system lymphoma during the past year, and is
calling for a moratorium on use of pesticides in Petaluma.

effort to ban glyphosate, going city by city, having each city adopt the moratorium, then the
county, then the state.

A. Approval of Revised Minutes of Regular City Council /PCDSA Meeting of Monday,
February 22, 2016. - Revision No. 1 - Monday, March 21, 2016.
The Revised Minutes of Regular City Council /PCDSA Meeting of Monday, February
22, 2016 were deemed approved as corrected to note that on Item 4.A,
although Mayor Glass had abstained from voting on the adoption of the
ordinance as he had not been present for the introduction of the ordinance, per
Council Rules, Policies and Procedures, page 20, whenever a member declines
to vote for any reason other than a conflict of interest, that vote is to be recorded
as a yes.
B. Approval of Minutes of Regular City Council /PCDSA /Petaluma Public Finance
Authority /Petaluma Public Finance Corporation Meeting of Monday, March 7,
2016.
The Minutes of Regular City Council /PCDSA /Petaluma Public Finance
Authority /Petaluma Public Finance Corporation Meeting of Monday, March 7,
2016, were deemed approved as presented.

objections to multiple government initiatives.

Council Member Healy spoke about the number of initiatives that are anticipated for the
November election and suggested that Council postpone supporting or opposing
measures until they have qualified for the ballot at the State level, including Item 3.B. He
asked that his comments be included for the record.
