3 ADOPTING A SCHEDULE FOR COMPUTING PERMIT FEES AND
4 REPEALING CONFLICTING RESOLUTIONS

6 WHEREAS, Chapter 17.04 of the Petaluma Municipal Code provides for the collection of
7 permit fees; and
8
9 WHEREAS, Ordinance 1998 N.C.S. 1996, deletes all permit fees indicated in the
1o adoption of the 1994 Building Codes; and
11
12 WHEREAS, Building Permit Fees are established by Petaluma Resolution; and
13
14 WHEREAS, Resolution 87-199 N.C.S. was adopted July 6, 1987, and no longer reflects
15 today's cost.

17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Schedules A through E of permit fees
is are hereby adopted as schedules to be used by the Building Division in computing fees for
19 the building permits and functions specified. All Building Permit applications submitted
20 on or after January 5, 1999 will be calculated under this new fee schedule. All Building
21 Permit applications submitted before January 5, 1999 will have their fees calculated by the
22 old fee schedule.

24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any resolution or portion of resolutions in conflict
25 herewith are hereby repealed, including Resolution No. 87-199 N.C.S.
