8 WIIEREAS; the State of California, Department of the California Highway
9 Patrol. requires written training agreements from any agency participating in training
10 programs, and

12 iVVIIEREAS, the Police Department desires from time to time to participate in
13 certain training programs sponsored and administered by the Department of the
14 California Highway Patrol.

16 N®W, 1'HEREF®RE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Petaluma City Council that
17 the Chief of Police is hereby authorized and directed to sign such training agreements.
