BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNC'I -L OF THE!CITY OF'PETALUMA, AS FOLLOWS:, Section 1 . That the City Council finds that the Planning Commission filed with.the,City Council on the 21st day of.April, 1967, its report,as set forth in.its Resolution. No. Z3- 67,*duly adopted by the Planning Commission on -the 18th day of April, - 1967, recommending the adoption of an amendment to.the'Zoning Ordinance No. 662, N.C.S. by,reclassify ng, and rezoning.from an R- 1- 10,000-zone -or district to an R -1 -6,000 zone or district the.area annexed.withn Northeast An- nexation No. 6 (Assessor'.s Parcel No. 14.9- 09 -l) and being more par- - ticular'ly and specifically, bounded and described as'follows, to wit: ,IV Being a portion of Lots-225 and 226 of Petaluma Rancho as shown on Rowe's.Maps and.recorded in Book 21 of`Maps,. on Page 1, Sonoma County Records, and being a portion 'of the lands of John and Elsie. Corry.as recorded in Official-Record-s, Book '1077 on Page 467, Sonoma County Records and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the, most . sou- ther corner of the lands of Corry, said point also being the:most westerly corner of the I lands of the Old Adobe Union School as recorded in Official .Records ; Book, 182 on page 577, Sonoma County . Containing 12.32 acres, more or less. Sect =ion 2 . The City Council further finds that -said Plan- ning Commission held a hearing on said proposed amendment to the Zoning, Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S., on April 18, 1967, after Having given notice of hearing in the manner, for the period and.in the -form required by said Ordinance No. 662, N.C.S. Section 3. That pursuant to Article 21 of said Zoning Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S. the City Council hereby adopts an amendment. to said Zoning Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S. so as to reclassify and rezone said property hereinbefore described from an R- 1- 10,000 zone or district to an R -1 -6,000 zone or district. Section 4. The City Council further.finds that the change is consistent with the purposes of Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S. as described in Section 1 -100 thereof and that all requirements of the said Ordinance. have been met. Section 5 . The City Clerk be; and is. hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in the Petaluma Atgu.`s Courier, the official newspaper of the City, including said map showing the description of a said property to be reclassified and rezoned hereunder, for the period and in the required by City Charter.
