HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 99-104 N.C.S. 05/03/1999 Resolution No. 99-104 1~.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California AMENDING RESOLUTION 6986 NCS, BY ADDING AN ADDITIONAL AREA TO THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT SURVEY AREA AND RE-DESCRIBING THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY AREA. WHEREAS the Community Redevelopment Law of the State of California (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) provides authority for the designation and description by resolution of survey areas; and WHEREAS by Resolution 6986 N.C.S. adopted June 2, 1975, the City Council designated a redevelopment survey area and determined that said area required study to determine if a redevelopment project or projects within the area are feasible; and WHEREAS the City Council has determined to have the additional area described in this resolution studied to determine if a redevelopment project or projects within said area are feasible; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: Section 1. The area designated and described as set forth in the "Description of the Added Area," attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference is hereby added to the redevelopment survey area designated by Resolution 6986 N.C.S., adopted on June 2, 1975. Section 2. The City Council hereby finds and determines that the area described in Section 1 of this resolution requires study to determine if a redevelopment project or projects within said area are feasible. Section 3. The boundaries of the redevelopment survey area as set forth in Resolution 6986 N.C.S., adopted on June 2, 1975 are hereby amended and redescribed as set forth in the "Map of the Proposed Amended Survey Area" (attached as Exhibit A). Section 4. All other provisions of said Resolution 6986 shall remain in full force and effect. Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
