EER:cm 9/3/68 INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN SECONDED BY OUNC'ILMAN a AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 662 N.C.S. BY REZONING A PORTION OF ASSESSOR'S PARCEL #5 030 - 11 (ON WEST SIDE OF S. MC DOWELL BOULEVARD) FROM AN "A" (AGRI- CULTURAL) ZONE OR DISTRICT TO AN R - -6,000 ZONE OR DISTRICT. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF'PETALUMA AS FOLLOWS: Section to That the City Council finds that the Planning Commission filed with the City Council on the 28th day of August, 1968, its report as set forth in its Resolution'No. Z9 -68, recommend- ing the adoption of an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S. by reclassifying and rezoning Assessor's Parcel No. 030 -11 (an area on the west side of South McDowell Boulevard) from an "A" (Agricultural) Zone or District to an R- 1- 6,000 Zone or District, being more particularly bounded and described as follows: All that certain real property situate in' the City of Petaluma, County of Sonoma,.State of California, being a portion of Lots 211 and 210 of the Petaluma Rancho according to Rowe's Survey of said Rancho as recorded in Book 8 of Maps at page 15, in the Recorder's Office of Sonoma County, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the most Easterly corner of Monarch Pacific Unit Three, a map of which was filed for record in Book 121 at pages 37 and 38, Sonoma County Records, said point being also on the Southwesterly line of South McDowell Blvd; thence leaving said POINT OF BEGINNING, along said last named line South 54 ®31'30 "' East, 1,433.92 feet; thence leaving said last named line along the Southeast- erly line of Lots 210 and 211 of the hereinabove mentioned Petaluma Rancho South 35 0 27 1 47" West, 1,135.14 feet; thence leaving said last named line North 54. °32 West, 618.57 feet; thence along a curve to the left with a radius of 430.00 feet, through a central angle of 4'®23 for an arc length of 33.'00 feet; thence South 31 ®04'West, 121.94 feet; thence South 30 West, 15.37 thence North 72 631.66 feet thence North 17 °56' East, 115.00 feet to the most Southerly corner of the hereinabove mentioned Monarch Pacific Unit Three.; thence along the South-easterly boundary of the hereinabove mentioned Monarch Pacific Unit Three., North 17 0 56' East, 365.00 ! feet; thence North 18° 00' 40" East, 60.70 feet; thence North 21 °24 East, 58.03 feet; thence North 26 0 31'30" East, 58.03 feet; thence -North 31 ?38'30 East,'58.03 feet; thence North 35 0 15'50" East, 60.11 feet; thence North 35 ®24' East, 716.62 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Section 3 . That pursuant to Article 21 of.;said Zoning-Ord,- inance.No. 662 N.C.S., the City.Council hereby adopts,an. amend- ment to said Zoning Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S. so as -to reclassify., and rezone said property hereinbefore described from an " A " (Agriculture) Zone or District to an R- 1- 6,000 or District. Se ction 4. - The City Council further finds that the.change i is consistent with the purposes of Ordinance,No. 66.2 N.C.S..as described in Section 1 -100 thereof and that all requirements of the said Ordinance have been met. Section 5. The City Clerk be, and she.is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in..the.Pe.taluma Ar.gus•Cour'ier,.the official newspaper.of the City, including the said map showing the des- cription of said property to be reclassified .and.rezoned.hereunder, for the period and in the manner require,d.by the.,City- Charter.., ORDERED PUBLISHED this 3rd day of ''September , 1968.
