HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 99-163 N.C.S. 08/16/1999 Resolution No. 99-163 N.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND THE SUBDIVISION AGREEMENT WITH WILLOW GLEN PARTNERS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A RECYCLED WATER PIPELINE WHEREAS, Petaluma has implemented a water conservation program to conserve and reduce the consumption of potable water; WHEREAS, an important component of the water conservation program is the reuse of recycled water; WHEREAS, Turtle Creek subdivision is still under construction; WHIEREAS, constructing the 12-inch recycled water pipeline from Prince Park to Sonoma Mountain Parkway, adjacent to Turtle Creek subdivision, simultaneously with construction of the Turtle Creek subdivision and the associated public improvements will eliminate the need for public and traffic impacts and significantly reduce construction costs; WHEREAS, the City has entered into a Subdivision Agreement with Willow Glen Partners, developer of Turtle Creek subdivision; NOW, THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED by the Petaluma City Council that: 1. The project budget of $140,000 is hereby approved for engineering, construction, inspection and project contingency; and 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to amend the Subdivision Agreement with Willow Glen Partners.for installation of a recycled water pipeline. Under the power and authority conferred upon tlus Council by the Charter of said City.
