HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 99-164 N.C.S. 08/16/1999 Res®lution No. 99-~~4 N.C.S. 1 2 of the City of Petaluma, California 3 AIJTIIORIZING TIE CITY 1VIANAGER 4 T® AIi~IEND TII~ C®NrTRACT VVITII s I.E®NARD CIIARI.,ES AND ASS®CIATES F®R 6 ADDITI®NAI, VV®RI~ ASS®CIATED V~IT~I TIIE-PREPARATION 7 OF A REVISED s ENVIR®Nll~IENTAL, IMPACT REP®RT F®R TIIE 9 I..AFFERT~' RANCID PARK PR®JECT, AND AUTII®RIZING to EXPEDITURE ®F FUNDS F®R SAID PRI)JECT 11 12 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Petaluma has indicated an intent to establish 13 the Lafferty Ranch property as a public park site; and 14 15 WHEREAS, the City Council has directed the preparation of a Draft Management Plan 16 and Environmental Impact Report to evaluate the proposed use of the Lafferty Ranch 17 property; and, 18 19 WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized by the adoption of Resolution #97-147, 20 #98-09, #98-258 N.C.S. and by Council action on September 1, I998, the execution and 21 subsequent amendments to a contract with Leonard Charles and. Associates and the 22 expenditure of funds for the completion of a Management Plan and Environmental Impact 23 Report. 24 25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council hereby authorizes the 26 City Manager to amend the existing contract with Leonard Charles and Associates for 27 completion of said Management Plan and Revised Environmental Impact Report at an 2s additional cost not to exceed $60,000 over and above the original and amended contract 29 amount for additional work not anticipated in the original scope of service. 30 31 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the additional funding for 32 said plan .and Revised EIR will be from the City's General Fund in an amount not to 33 exceed an additional $60,000 for a total not to exceed $225,232. 34 35 h:pUlaffetylresos~L.CSam~d4.doc Under the power and authority conferred upon tlus Council by the Charter of said City.
