CALL TO ORDER (07:00 PM) 2. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Benedetti - Petnic, Wolpert, Pierre, King, Gomez ABSENT: Lin, Marzo 3. PUBLIC COMMENT Page 1 The Committee will hear public comments only on matters over which it has jurisdiction. There will be no Committee /Commission discussion or action. The Chair will allot no more than three minutes to any individual. If more than three persons wish to speak, their time will be allotted so that the total amount of time allocated to this agenda item will be 15 minutes. 4. COMMISSION COMMENT A. Council Liaison — Dave King City Council liaison Dave King reported that at the last Council meeting, there was a first reading of a Sidewalk Repair Ordinance which will provide a process for enforcing sidewalk repair. Pedestrian and Bicycle Committee — Richard Marzo Commissioner Marzo was absent therefore no report was given. C. Tree Advisory Committee — Gina Benedetti - Petnic Co Chair Benedetti - Petnic stated that the committee has not met since the last meeting, therefore no report was given. D. Other Commission Comment Commissioner Wolpert represents the Planning Commission on Sonoma County Climate Action 2020 Plan. He announced that the first draft of final plan is ready for review and a meeting will be held in the near future to collect comments. Planning Manager's Report Planning Manager, Heather Hines, reported that the Riverfront project will be going to the Tree Advisory Committee for approval of their street trees. The Marina Apartments project is scheduled to go before the City Council on April 4th. 6. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A. Approval of Minutes of Regular Planning Commission /HCPC Meeting of Tuesday, February 23, 2016 Co Chair Benedetti - Petnic The minutes were approved without comment. 7. OLD BUSINESS A. The Block. Washington Street made by Jennifer Pierre, seconded by Diana Gomez. Vote: Motion carried 5 - 0. Yes: Diana Gomez, Gina Benedetti - Petnic, Bill Wolpert, Jennifer Pierre, and Dave King. Absent: Jocelyn Yeh Lin, and Richard Marzo B. Leghorn Plaza. Site Plan and Architectural Review to enable construction a 9,120 square foot singe -story commercial building within the existing Leghorn Plaza. This median was important in negotiations between the original developer and the Canterbury Homeowners Association and the maintenance ceased after Parkway Plaza became Leghorn Marketplace .
