HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 99-212 N.C.S. 11/01/1999 Resolution No. 99-212 I.C.S. of the City of Petaluma, California i RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING STREET CLOSiJRE 2 FOR VETERANS I)AY PARAI9E 3 NOVEMBER 11,1999 4 5 6 WHEREAS, the Petaluma Veterans Council is sponsoring the annual Veterans Day 7 Parade; and 8 9 WHEREAS, Petaluma Municipal Code 13.32 provides 'for special events permits; and 10 the event is for public awareness and education, and 11 12 WHEREAS, the Petaluma Veterans Council will be the authorized sponsor of the special 13 event including the authorization of street vendors within the special event perimeter, 14 15 NOW, THEREFORE ~E IT RESOLVED, that the Police Department is authorized to 16 close Fourth Street/Kentucky Street from I Street to Washington Street to Eastbound 17 Washington Street between Keller Street and North Petaluma Blvd., between Washington Street 18 and D Street, D Street between Second Street and Sixth Street, November 11, 1999, between 19 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for the purpose of conducting a parade per the route identified on the 20 attached map, attached as Exhibit "A". 21 22 23 24 Under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
