PUBLIC COMMENT ON CLOSED SESSION ITEMS ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION -10:25 p.m. REPORT OUT OF CLOSED SESSION (ACTIONS TAKEN) City Attorney Danly reported, in accordance with Section 54957.1(a) (3) of the Brown Act that tonight in closed session, by a vote of 7/0 with no members opposed, the City Council authorized City Manager John Brown to execute a settlement agreement resolving the lawsuit Andrea Waters, former Petaluma Firefighter /Paramedic, brought against the City. Ms. Waters' lawsuit was originally filed November 6, 2014. The settlement agreement provides for release of any and all claims of Ms. Waters related to her employment with the City of Petaluma and dismissal of the lawsuit with prejudice in exchange for a payment of $1.25 million.
