Peter Tscherneff, Petaluma, spoke of a variety of political topics. Zen Destiny, Sebastopol, expressed disapproval of the new automobile license plate reading technology the Police Department is utilizing. Approving Application to the Federal Aviation Administration for the Airport Improvement Program AIP-27 FY 17/18 Grant Funding to the Runway Edge Lighting and Airfield Guidance Signage and to the California Department of Transportation Caltrans Division of Aeronautics for a 5% Grant Match, and Authorizing the City Manager to Accept Grant Funding from both Agencies and Execute all Grant Related Documents. (Brown) Council Member King recused himself from voting on Item 3.A because the contractor is his former client. He noted he has recused himself from voting on this project in the past, and will continue to do so.
