HomeMy WebLinkAboutPCDC Resolution 96-09 05/20/1996RESOLUTION # 96-09 PETALUMA COMMUNITYDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY - #6 PAYRAN STREET WHEREAS, Petaluma Community Development Commission has adopted, as one of its priority projects, the Petaluma River Payran Reach Channel Improvement Project for protection of the developed area in the vicinity from flood damage; and WHEREAS, acquisition of property at #6 Payran will help address this priority project; and WHEREAS, the Commission authorizes staff to pursue negotiations for acquisition of said property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chairman, Executive Director or Assistant Executive Director of the Petaluma Community Development Commission are hereby authorized to enter into and execute a purchase agreement between P•.C:D.C. and the owners of the real property located at Petaluma, California, designated as assessor parcel number 007-019-02. Authorization includes purchase at $175,000, purchase differential at $30,000, payment in-lieu of moving expenses for business operation at $20,000 plus miscellaneous closing costs and residential moving stipend; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Petaluma Community Development Commission finds that this acquisition is evaluated under the final EIR/EIS adopted for the project or is exempt under one or more of the following sections of the California Environmental Quality Act: 15061 (b) 3, 15304, 15312, 15325 (d), 15326 and the City of Petaluma Environmental Review Guidelines.
