S . , REZONING ASSESSOR'S' PARCEL NOS. 149.-12.2722 FROM AN " R-1-6,000 (ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIA,) ZONE TO`A P-M (PROFESSIONAL -MEDICAL) ZONE AND ABC-C (COMMUNITY COM- MERCIAL) ZONE - 179,6 EAST WASHINGTON STREET? BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PETALUMA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the City Council finds that the Planning Commission filed with the City Council on the 18th day of February, 1970 its report as set forth in its Resolution. No. Z3-70, recommending the adoption of an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance No. 662'N.C.S. by reclassifying and re- zoning a portion of Assessor's Parcel Nos. 149-122-22 from an R-1-6,000 (One -Family Residential) Zone to a P-M (Professional -Medical) Zone and a C-C (Community Commercial) Zone - 1796 East.Washngton Street, being more particularly described as follows: P-M (Professional -Medical) Zone All that certain real property situate, lying and being in the City of Petaluma, County of Sonoma, State of California, bounded and described as follows: The northeasterly 120 feet of that portion of Lot,.219 in Petaluma Rancho as same is shown on Map of Survey, 'by W. Rowe recorded in Book 21 of Maps, Page 1, Sonoma County Records, more particularly described as follows,.- r For a point of commencement..begin at a point on the north- easterly line of said Lot 224 from which point the most easterly corner of said lot bears South 54°:30' East, 1023.94 feet; thence South 351 30' West, 1079.23 feet to.a point marked by an iron pipe.; thence North 541 30' West, 1089.18 feet to a point marked by an iron pipe on the existing southeasterly line of East Washington Street; thence along said Southeasterly line South 351 36' West, 1156.75 feet to a 1/2" iron pipe set; said point being the true point of beginning of the tract to be herein described; thence from said point of commence- ment continue South 351 36" West along Washington Street, 411 feet to a 1/2" iron pipe set, thence North 870 39' East, 666.70 feet to a 1/'2" iron pipe set; thence North 790 15' East, 1.37 feet to a 1/2" iron pipe set, which bears South 541 24' East, from the point of commencement; thence North 54' 24' West, 526.67 feet.to the point of commencement. -1- C-C (Community Commercal).Zone All that certain real property situate., lying and being in the City of -.Petaluma, County of Sonoma, State of California, bounded and described as follows:.. The City Council further finds that said Planning Commission held a hearing on said proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S. on the 18th,day of February, 1970 after having given notice of said.hearing,.,in the,manner, for the period and in the form required by said Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S. Section 3. That pursuant to Article 21 of said Zoning Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S., the,.City Council hereby adopts an -amendment to said -Zoning Ordinance 662 N.CFS. so as to reclassify and rezone r said property hereinbefore described from an R-1-6,000 (One=Family Residential) Zone or District to a P-M (Professional -Medical) Zone or District and a C-C (Community Commercial) Zone or District - 1796 East Washington Street. IU -2- Section 4�, --The City Council further finds that the change is consistent with the purposes of Ordinance No® 662 N.C.S. as described in Section 1-100 thereof and that all requirements of the said Ordinance have been met. Section 5. The City Clerk be, and she is hereby directed to 1564t/ publish this Ordinance in the Petaluma Argus Courier, the official news- paper of the City, including the said map showing the description of said property to be reclassified and rezoned hereunder, for the period and in the manner required by the City Charter, ORDERED BDSUMWPUBLISHED this 2nd day of March , 1970.
