AN ORDINANCE AMENDING "ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 662 N.C.S. BY
REZONING ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NQ. 5- (AP.PROXIMATELY 15
ACRES LOCATED AT THE SOUTHF�4s�CORNEP. OF LAKEVILLE HIGH -
WAY AND CASA_ GP.P.NDE ROAD) FROM "P." (A.GRICULTURA.L)
ZONE OR DISTRICT TO A:N "M -L" (LI D INDUSTRIAL) ZONE OR
DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY °'OF'PETALUMA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the City Council finds that the Planning Com-
mission filed with the City Council on - the 2.1st day of January, 1970
its report'as set forth in its Resolution No. Z1 -70, recommending
the ` adoption of an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S. by
reclassifying and rezoning from A (Agricultural) Zone or District to an
M :L.. (limited Industrial) Zone or District, being more particularly
described as follows _.
Lvinq within the City of Petaluma, anal being a portion
of.that certain 310 acre parcel designated as Parcel 1
of that certain, 'Parcel Map No. 16, recorded in Book
109 'Aaps, page 43, Sonoma County Records, more
particular described as follows:.
COMMENCING at the most Northeast corner of said 30.00
acre parcel, being a point on the,, Southerly line of
Lakeville Highway from which a 6" by_ "_concrete monu-
ment marking Station EC 65 + 92.35 bears S 84° 01' 05" W
1174.48 feet; - thence from said point of commencement
and along the Southerly line of Lakeville Highway S 84°
Oil 05" W 588.56 feet to a point, the True Point of
Beginninq of the parcel to be herein described; thence
from said True Point o;f Beginning and along the Northerly
line of said 30 acre parcel,, being common to the Southerly
line of Lakeville Highway S 84° 0.1' 0'5" W 585.92 feet to
said 6 ".by 6" concrete monument marking Station EC 55 +
92.35; thence on,a curve to the left th -rough a delta
angle &I 18:' 23 "' with a radius of 2504 0.00 feet for
a. length of '133.9,0 feet to a point; thence N 36 10' 50"
E 21.37 feet to ,,a disturbed 6" by ! concrete monument;
thence S 8:4° 48' 05" W 13.78 feet to a point on the
Southeasterly, line of Casa Grande Road; thence along'
the Southeast line of said road .S 36° 10' 50" W
1092.71 feet to .the Southwest corner of said 30.00
acre parce thence along the Southwesterly line of said
30.00 acre parcel'S 76 57' 25" E 502.89,feet to a
point; thence continuing , S 76° 57' 25 " E 88.32 feet to a
point.; thence leaving the Southwesterly line of said
30.00 acre parcel N 36° 1.0'' 50 " .E 1331.57 feet to the
point of beginning; containing 15.`00 acres, more or less.
Subject to and together with that certain 60.00 foot
Right -of -Way over the Southwesterly portion of the
above described.15.0.0 acre parcel, being the same.
Right -of -Way as delineated on said Parcel Map No. 16.

Subject to a 15.00 foot Sanitary Sewer Easement over the
Southerly portion -of the above described -15.00 acre
parcel, being the same 15 foot easement as delineated
on said Parcel Pap 'No.. .. 16.
Section 2 . The City Council further finds that said Planning
Commission held a hearing on said proposed amendment to the Zoning
Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S. on the 20th day of January, 1970 after having
given notice of said hear-ing'in the manner, for the,period and in the
form required by said Ordinance No. 662: N'.C..S.
Section 3 . That pursuant to Article 21 of ,said Zoning
Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S.,'The City Council hereby adopts an amendment
to said Zoning Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S. so as'to "reclassify and rezone
said property hereinbefore described from an A (Agricultural) Zone or
District to an M -L (Limited Industrial) Zone or District..
Section 4. . The City Council further finds that'the chanae is
consistent with the ur oses of Ordinance No,. 662 N..C.S-. as described

in Section 1 -100 thereof and that all requirements.of the said-Ordinance
have been met.
Section 5 . The City Clerk be and she i_s he'reby directed to
�! pmx -t/publish this Ordinance in the Petal;uma.P_:rqus Courier, the official

newspaper of the City, including the said map showing the description
of said property to be reclassified and rezoned hereunder, for the
period and in the manner- required by'the:City Charter.
