AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING - ORDINANCE NO 662 N - .C.S:.
BY�REZONING A PORTION OF ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NO-5-040-5
FROM AN A. (A.GR:ICULTURAL) ZONE OR - DISTRICT TO AN M -L-
(LIMITED INDUSTRIAL) ZONE-OR DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE-COUNCIL-OF THE-CITY OF.PETALUMA AS.FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the -City Council.finds

COMMENCING at an.iron pin driven the.ground at
a,point on the road leading from Petaluma to Lake -
ville bearing South 36 °.15' West, and d stant'.7.36-
chains.from an iron gun - barrel driven into -the ground
at a point distant 80 feet -from the most westerly
corner of Chapman's Land, ,being -at,or - near the com.
mon corners o lots 186, 187, 192 -and 193.of,New Town
as shown on Map of Petaluma City or New Town, so called,-

and' - from which the',most, Westerly corner of-the "Old

iron pin at the corner of "Old Homestead "tract, be-
ing at or near the common corner of Lots 168, 169,

Excepting therefrom all that portion of land lying
North of the Southerly line described in the Deed to
the.State of California, dated September 16, 1937,
recorded November 5, 1937 in Book 4.43 of Official

Also excepting therefrom that portion lying within
the City of Petaluma, and being a portion of that
certain 30 acre parcel designated as Parcel 1 of that
certain Parcel Map No. 16, recorded-in Book 109 of
Maps, Page 43, Sonoma County Records, more partic-
ularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the most Northeast corner of said 30.00
acre parcel, being a point on the southerly line of
Lakeville Highwav from which a 6" x 6" concrete monu -.
ment marking Station EC 65+ 92.35 bears S 84 °01'05"
W, 1174.48 feet; thence from said point of commence-
ment and along the Southerly line of Lakeville Highway
S 84 °01'05" W, 58:8.56 feet to a point, the True Point_
of Beginning of the parcel'to be herei- n.described;
thence -from said True Point of Beginning and along the
Northerly line of said 30 acre parcel, being common
to the Southerly line of Lakeville Highway, S 84 °01'0.5"
W, 585.92 feet to said 6" x.6" concrete. monument mark-
ing Station EC 65+ 92.35 thence on a curve to the left
through a delta an,ol:e 0 °18'2.3" with a radius of 25040.00
feet for a.lenath of 133.90 feet to a point; thence N
36 0 10'50" E, 2137 :-F1 eet to a disturbed 6 ",x 6" concrete
monument; thence S 84 °48'05" W, 13.78 feet to a point
on the Southeasterly line of Casa Grande Road'; thence
along the Southeast line of.said. road S 36 1 10'50" W',
1092.71 feet to the southwest corner of said 30.00
acre parcel; thence along the Southwesterly line of
said 30.00 acre parcel S 76 1 57'25 E, 5:02.89 feet to
a point; thence continuing S 75 E, 88.32 feet
to a point; thence leaving the southwesterly line of
said 30.00 acre parcel N 36 1 10'50" E, 1331.57 feet..to
the point of beginning; containing 1.5.00 acres, more
or less.
Section 2. The City Council further finds that said Plan-
nina Commission held a hearing on said proposed amendment to the
Zoning Ordinance No. 662, N.C.S. on the 7,th'.day of October, 1969
after having given notice of said hearing in the manner,,for the
period and in the form required by said Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S.

Section!3 That. pursuant -to Article 21 of said Zoning
Ordinance -No: 662 N.C.S., the-City-Council hereby. adopts an amend-
ment to said Zoning Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S..so- as- .to-reclassfy
and rezone said property hereinbefore described from an- A. (Agri-
cultural) Zone.or District to an M - (Limited Industrial) Zone,
or District:
Section 4 . The City Council further finds that the change
is consistent,with: the purposes of Ordinance No. 662 N.C.S.-as.
described in Section 1 -100 thereof and that all.requ.rements of
the said Ordinance have been met.
' Section 5 '. The. City -Clerk be, and she is hereby directed
to publish this Ordinance in the Petaluma. Courier, the
ficial newspaper of -the City, including the .s, . showing the
desc.ription..of said property recl,assif'ied -and rezoned here-
