RESOLUTION # 94-1
PETALUMA COMMUNITYDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEIVIENT FOR
ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTX
WHEREAS, the Petaluma Community Development Commission has adopted as one of its
priority projects the implementation of the Petaluma River Payran Reach Flood Control Project for
the protection of the residential areas in that vicinity from flood damage; and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of the property at 10 Vallejo Street will help address this priority
project; and
WHEREAS, the Commission directed its staff to pursue negotiations for acquisition of said
property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Chairman or Executive Director of the
Petaluma Community Development Commission is hereby authorized to enter into and execute that
certain Agreement entitled. "Purchase and Sale Agreement for Property" (Exhibit A) between the
owners of the property located at Petaluma, California, designated as Assessor's Parcel #7-042-17,
wherein the Petaluma Community Development Commission will acquire said property in
accordance with. the terms set forth in the attached Exhibit A; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Petaluma Community Development Commission
finds that this action is exempt under one or more of the following sections of the California
Environmental Quality Act: 15061 (b)(3), 15304, 15312, 15325 (d), 15326 and the City of Petaluma
Environmental Review Guidelines.
