Richard Brawn, Petaluma, spoke about costs and deficits and wanted
to know what the City's expenditures are in the redevelopment areas.
Katherine Bobrowski, Petaluma, stated that the PCDC does not pay for
schools, the state pays for schools.
Alan Tacy, Petaluma, wondered about the impact of the SMART proposal
that just passed on the November ballot. It is his understanding that
SMART will generally increase property values by 15% and that should
have a significant impact on the redevelopment areas.
