Subject: Save Shollenberger Park!
Dear City Council Member,
January 20, 2009
I am writing because I am worried about Shollenberger Park. I have been going to the park for over ten
years. I know many other locals who have also frequented the park for many years. I hate to think that I might
lose such a beautiful natural wildlife habitat and walking spot to an asphalt plant that will destroy the wildlife
habitat and peaceful walking spot with noise, toxic fumes, and polluted runoff. Please reconsider this decision
and save a wonderful place places for Petaluma locals! Do not erase critical wildlife and an area where locals
and visitors alike can relax, exercise, and/or enjoy the serene area.
Sincerely,
Shaina Hildreth
