List of items from the Police and Fire Departments Summary Statement: The Police Department has identified an older model DUI trailer that they no longer have a use for. The Fire Department has identified a fire Engine that they do not have a use for. Other City department cannot use the vehicles and/or equipment. The vehicles and equipment may have a value in excess of $500 and therefore Council is required to declare them surplus. The vehicles, if declared surplus, will be disposed of in accordance with provisions of Chapter 3.12 of the Petaluma Municipal Code. Recommended Citv Council Action/Suggested Motion: Adopt the resolution authorizing the City Manager to dispose of the equipment identified as surplus.
